We are thrilled to announce Price Benowitz’s second annual project backpack event in collaboration with Council Chair Jolene Ivey and Congressman Glenn Ivey for the Prince George’s County Summer Daze Block Party on July 26th from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Our goal is to distribute 1,000 pre-filled backpacks to elementary students in the Greater Landover, MD, community. 

This year, we won’t be requesting RSVPs, but we will register attendees onsite. Supplies will be limited, so it’ll be on a first-come, first-served basis.

When: Friday, July 26 (5:30 – 8:30 PM)

Why: To celebrate the beginning of the new school year and ensure students have what they need for a successful year ahead!
