Sam thrives on the challenges of trial work and believes that preparation, clarity, and confidence are the keys to effective advocacy. He views each case as an opportunity to not only protect his client’s rights but also to deliver a performance in court that is both compelling and persuasive. For Sam, the most rewarding part of his work is knowing he has done everything possible to achieve the best outcome for his clients.

Experience & Background

Sam Dhawan had the privilege of serving as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Judith C. Ensor in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, Maryland. This experience provided him with invaluable insight into how judges think and respond to arguments, shaping his approach to advocacy and trial preparation. Combined with his significant trial experience across a variety of matters, Sam has developed into a confident and effective litigator.

A graduate of the University of Baltimore School of Law, Sam is admitted to practice in Maryland. He is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi, and also conversational in Spanish. Outside of his practice, Sam enjoys sports, especially cheering for the Washington Commanders, and spends his free time on the golf course.
