Experience & Background

A native of Long Beach, California, he graduated from Washington State University in Pullman, WA with a major in political science. Later that year, he moved to Washington, DC where he attended American University Washington College of Law to earn his juris doctorate.

While in law school, Thomas worked in both the Criminal Justice Clinic as a certified student attorney and the International Law Review as a senior staffer. Thomas returned home and interned with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office where he gained valuable courtroom experience and tackled constitutional, criminal, and novel issues. He has handled criminal and civil matters including employment and labor, personal injury, and civil rights related matters.

In 2020, Thomas received his juris doctorate and on December 17, 2020, he was admitted to practice in the state of Maryland. He is currently in the process of being admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
