Background Information

Nicholas J.N. Stamatis received his bachelor’s degree in criminology and physics from American University, and his Juris Doctorate degree from the Washington College of Law where he graduated cum laude. While at the Washington College of Law, Mr. Stamatis held an executive board position on the College’s Administrative Law Review, and his article, “Patenting Artificial Intelligence: An Administrative Look into the Future of Patent Law” was published in the Journal of High Technology Law at Suffolk Law School. Mr. Stamatis began his legal career as a criminal defense clerk for the Public Defenders Service for the District of Columbia before clerking for various criminal defense and personal injury firms in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
