Experience & Background

Juan earned his Juris Doctorate degree from New England Law, Boston, where he won the intra-school ABA Negotiation Competition and served on several indigent-defendant clinics for low or no-income individuals. In Landlord-Tenant and Bankruptcy matters, he helped families avoid eviction, navigate housing code violations, and fend off predatory mortgage lenders. He also spent significant time with the Public Defender’s Office representing adult and juvenile defendants on offenses ranging from illegal substances, assault and battery, and robbery cases, as well as assisting qualified cases through court intervention and rehabilitative programs including GED attainment and eligible criminal records sealing.Thereafter, Juan worked for a national legal research and publishing company based in Washington, D.C. handling multi-million dollar portfolios with several state and local state bar associations. A Massachusetts native, Juan enjoys rooting on his Boston-based sports teams in enemy territory, running marathons and other charitable races, and spending time with his fiance and dog. He is also a fluent Spanish speaker.
