Experience & Background

Brian began working at a small personal injury law firm in Washington, D.C. where he had the opportunity to handle hundreds of settlements and try dozens of cases in the District of Columbia and throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He then moved to a national insurance defense firm, handling the defense of personal injury actions for some of the largest global insurance companies. His experience has given him the opportunity to handle a variety of civil cases including automobile accidents, premises liability, wrongful death, contract disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and medical/professional malpractice cases.

Brian earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park in cell, molecular biology, and genetics. After graduating, he worked for the National Institutes of Health as a Biologist sequencing DNA for the Human Genome Project. Following several years with the NIH, he decided to change careers and earned his Juris Doctorate from Catholic University’s Columbus School of Law.

He enjoys taking advantage of all that the District of Columbia area has to offer, including biking, hiking, and the area’s diverse dining scene. Brian also donates his free time weekly to assisting underprivileged families at the Springfield Family Resource Center and Bread for the City.
