Experience & Background

Kush is a 2005 graduate of The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law. He was involved in the DC Law Students in Court program and the Moot Court Society, and he served as an Officer on the South Asian Bar Association, where he is still a member to this day. Subsequently, he was an Assistant Public Defender in Montgomery County, Maryland and handled a broad range of cases from misdemeanor traffic offenses to serious felonies, successfully representing clients at trial before both judges and juries.

Kush then joined Price Benowitz and helped launch their Maryland practice, where he handles criminal cases at both the misdemeanor and felony levels.  Kush is state and federally licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia, and is also licensed to argue cases before the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association Mentor-Mentee Program and the Attorney Grievance Committee Ethics Review Panel.

Kush is a lifelong Montgomery County resident and enjoys running, reading, hiking, and traveling in his spare time.
